One-third of all emergency-department visits are related to asthma, and it is the common reason children are admitted to hospitals. Statistics show that the prevalence of asthma has been on the rise over the past 15 to 20 years, and that this trend continues. Furthermore, our reports can help educate our staff and medical staff in other departments about the physical manifestation of disease.
